Tucker's Marketplace

I have been going to Tucker's since it was known as Mother Tucker's. I have always found the food and service to be great. Very consistent. I have visited all locations in the GTA and Ottawa. I do like the Carlson Court location the best. Would recommend this restaurant hightly.

GREAT!!

So disappointed, went for brunch, the mussels were next to the French toast, the salad bar was all dry nothing looked fresh or appetizing. Woulnt recommend it to anyone.

I have been to Tuckers several times since the first. I love the place I have even dines along , the atmposphere is great and I love the service they are not only freiendly but fun to be aroun. Just love it love love it.

Was there on Monday for Thanksgiving Dinner. We live in Etobicoke. Dove from Whitby with my wife because we had been to Tucker's before after working from 800 in the morning. Were seated by 642. She was able to get turkey and then there was none left for the rest of the night. Went there to get a turkey dinner. I did not go there to get something else which I had to settle for and also pay the holiday price for food I was not looking forward to having. You open at 5 and 645 are out of turkey and are still open for another 2hours and 15 minutes.Really not happy.

Not even mediocre. Id rather eat leftovers from the CNE. The food was either too salty, too mushy, too wilted, or, as my husband cut into his piece of chicken RAW. My husband told the server to remove the plate since he was not going to eat anything after seeing that the chicken was raw. All he had was a slice of bread and two scoops of sugar free ice-cream. They made him pay for his entire meal. The roast beast was unusual. I got three TINY and paper-thin slices (3 bites in total). The unhappy carver was miserable and I didnt dare ask him to cut me a bit more meat. It was an effort for him to pass me a out-of-reach Yorkshire pudding. It looked great but Ive made packaged Yorkshire pudding that has tasted better. It was inedible. My niece at a slice of pepperoni from her pizza and declared she didnt like the pizza at all. The tables were not clean and the cutlery is actually placed on the dirty tables PRIOR to being placed on the folded napkins. And water?? Try to get them to fill you glass. If you arent paying for an over priced beverage, then you can wait for water until you get home. 5 Adults and one child two coffees $167.00 with tax and tip. I can decent food and full table service at other restaurants. This place is NOT worth the time and definitely not worth the items they are calling food. I really should have listened to the person who said they dont recommend this place. Not even for a free birthday meal dont go. Four of us were up during the night with stomach cramps. Got there around 630pm and the place was not busy just before 8pm. I think its time to close this sorry place down.

katie is stilthe best sever at tucker's dinner is great but you must get there when everything is fresh like right at opening at 5.00pm, i was wondering could you bring back steaks thank u tucker's market place and to katie the bestest server ever you must go to tucker's it is so yumie and birthday's are the bestest especial when they all sing to you on your birthday keep up the great service tucker's and to the lady manager for the great greeting the lady manger should be the hostest much better than some of those sour looking hostess hatts off to kattie,dave,carol and the lady manager

Was there yesterday for a mother's day dinner. I barely ate. I didn't like anything. The black rice salad was inedible. The caesar salad was tough. The chicken was tough. Others who had the pork said it was tough. It seems no one really tastes the food you sell. I'm so surprised how awful the food was. I'd never go anywhere near your restaurant again. I'm very disappointed in the management that food taste and texture is not considered. A restaurant is about FOOD.

I took my wife and two others, for Valentines day to Tukers Marketplace WOW What A VERY BAD EXERIENCE IT WAS. I GOT FOOD POISON AND WAS RUNNING IN AND OUT OF THE WASHROOM ALL NIGHT. In the morning when I went to see my Doctor she told me I had food poison and put on medication. I should have known as the food looked like it has been heated over and over again and dingy. altough I was very careful what to eat it sure did me wrong..

The menu is great soups are out of this world dave is a super server he always knows our drink order and removes dirty plates super fast you all should experience this for yourselves and on the day of your birthday you get a free meal what other resturant does this no other hats off to tucker's marketplace see you soon

The Food is So yumie i am reccomending that eveyone visits this resturant it it sooo good you would totally enjoy it. Katie was the bestest server ever keep up the great work tucker's please bring back steaks please yumie

I came there for my birthday and it was amazing and our waiter was awesome (Osama). It was a great experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went for dinner on Sunday and was very disappointed. buffet sucked - no salmon as posted spent 100.00 for 3 people. Went to Montana's on Monday and spent the same amount of money for 5 people and better and more food

Numerous times we have had group lunches to celebrate birthdays, or departures from our company. The food is always reliable and good fresh and tasty. The variety meets everyones needs (including our 5 vegetarians).
On the other hand -- the menu never changes, so you don't want to go toooo often.
AND -- A 15% gratuity is ridiculous for a self-serve restaurant. IF You Give Them a Hard Time -- they will remove it. BUT, still be sure to leave a generous tip.

I was impressed with katie our sever and the food is out of this world you must go to tucker's market place and get kate as your serer you will not be disappointed she is so friendly and service is so fast. You must go see for yourself as soon as possible monday- to friday lunch is simple the best value ever

Me and my friends went tucker's marketplace for my friend's birthday the food has so yumie and the service was great katie made a great empression on that evening what a great place i will go again and again hats off to you katie and tucker's market place

The sevrice is great great food and selection i look forward to going again and again katie's is the best server ever and will not go there unless she is working i hope she will become a manger is is just so excellent that you must experince this for yourself.

We had a dinner at Tucker's Marketplace in Burlington, what a disaster. Food cold, roast beef cold and raw, you had to wait to get your glass of water. Clams were dry and there was no dessert just left overs from watermelon and chocolate moose. We will never go there any more. I wish we went to King's Buffet instead.

NOT COMING HERE ANYMORE. We usually go to Tucker's in Etobicoke once a month. My husband and I love the steaks and is pretty much all we go there for. We went there the other day and found out that they NO LONGER serve steaks. What a disappointment! We will no longer be going there as this is what made the 20 minute trip worthwhile. It is now no different than any other buffet.

I have been coming to this location for years. I do not like any other location-egMavis Rd, & Burlington. But I do have to say I am now VERY DISSAPOINTED they have taken the steak off the grill. This was my favorite dish. I understand a change is good, but DON'T take away a FAVORITE. They always cooked it my way!!! Medium Rare. Spoke with a few patrons that night that also were very dissapointed because of this. Otherwise I still enjoy this locations atmosphere.

My wife and I have eaten at Tucker's Marketplace for years and have always enjoyed it. It's one of the few places you can count on getting consistent value for your money. I've even taken business clients visiting from around the US and every one of them was impressed with the food, both the variety and the presentation. Keep it up, guys--we're coming back the week after Christmas with a large group of family, who are all looking forward to the event.

My family & I celebrated thanksgiving at Tuckers. We had a great time. It was packed & very busy but our waitress (Carol) was fantastic. Great service, great food in spite of all the people.
Those potato pancakes were delicious as was everything else. They kept on bringing out the dishes and things were hot and tasty.

Would do that again.

fresh prepared pasta. selection of breads, soup entries is very good and fresh as well.

Went for Sunday dinner, left very disappointed. First we were seated in a very noisy area where 2 parties were going on (hostess led us past many more suitable empty tables). No roast beef, no turkey, nobody was manning the pasta station, majority of food was very tired looking - had been sitting there a long time. Booth we sat in was GRUNGY, yech!!! I have sent to emails to their comments email, no courtesy of a response. This place sucks!!!

I went to Tuckers maket place a few years ago, it was about 22 of us and we really had a good time and I want to do it again, for about 15 people, but can't find the menu, we have some sensitive eaters with us, can you please send me the menu at esther200protectedemailogers.com so we can view it before making the reservation.

I reserved well in advance for my Mom's birthday, we had a guest list of 12 with 2 needing highchairs. When I arrived they had not reserved my booking. They acted nonchalant with no apologies. I will never go back there and neither will any of my guests. I will tell everyone about the rude inconsiderate idiots that work at Tuckers. If the tip was not included in the bill they would have gotten zip.
I recommend anyone wanting a pleasurable experience to just go and don't bother with reservations.

I took my wife and kids and my mother in-law for dinner on Dec. 28/07. My wife and I were shocked at the dinner prices during the xmas period. Our bill came out to an astonishing $106.20!! That's over $21.00/person/child!!We have had dinner at this location frequently. The food menu was exactly the same as prior visits!! Why the price increase?? Especially, during the xmas holidays!! For 3 adults and two children!! In addition to the over-priced dinner, my beverage was served to me after I had already finished my first dish! If these comments I am making does not prompt Tucker's with any response, you can count on my family never visiting your establishment again! FYI Even though my beverage arrived late, and the ridiculous price for dinner, I still tipped the server $10.80

I really enjoy tucker marketplace everytime i go there is always a great variety of food for everyone in your party. The food is excellent as well as the drinks. The service is super and attentive. I look forward to my next visit.

Staff are awesome, food is delicious. It's my favourite resaurant!

Wonderful, EXCEPT I took a friend who had never experienced Tuckers to dinner last night, and found NONE of the BREAD PUDDING that I'd been raving about for years. It WAS listed on the dessert menu board. What a disappointment!!! Otherwise the meal was every bit as anticipated. I especially loved the vast array of salad ingredients, and the addition of the little steaks was great too.

Tuckers is a great place to eat. There buffet is really good and everything is well priced.)

The choice here is much better than mandarin or vinnie zucchinni

I come here for the very good steak. I would rate this better than Mandarin for the steak reason as well as excellent price during weekdays lunch hours.
