The Malta Bakery does exactly what it says on the tin - Bakes Maltese delicacies. I am Maltese, but live in the UK. So on a recent visit to Toronto I wanted to see what was on offer in “little Malta” that I had heard so much about. I was surprised to say the least, the pastizzi where as I expected them to be, Maltese made. I tried both the Cheese (Ricotta) and Peas (Pizelli) and also some of the various Maltese cakes. I wish now I bought a figolla another Maltese Easter biscuit decorated with icing sugar and baked in the shape of Easter Bunnies or similar charters. All in all I’d give it a 9.5 out of 10. The owner was also very friendly chatted about the various issue the local Maltese have in that area. Yes I would recommend it for a visit. ..More Reviews
