Mamma Martino's Pasta And Pizzeria Restaurant

WONDERFUL! We have been eating at Mamma Martino's occasionally for over 20 years. If we lived closer, we'd be there more often for sure. We've dined by ourselves, with the family and with groups of friends. The food is good and the prices are very reasonable. We've never had poor service, but yes, we've had to wait sometimes because it's so busy -- Understandable!

Interesting. As I read all of these reviews, some good and some bad I'm puzzled. I go to Mamma Martino's approximately six times a year with customers that really enjoy the place. I've never had bad service, nasty servicers or bad food. The owner always acknowledges us as does the rest of the staff who by the way take the time to make us feel comfortable. Luck, I don't think so.

I love this place. I am Italian background and I always feel like I am eating in my mother's house. Authentic, great atmosphere. Food is fresh & tasty.

The food is very good the atmosphere is cafeteria like. i know they are busy on most nights but we went and waited 2.5 hours for a pizza and two salads. the server was poor and we weren't offered anything for the rediculous wait time. For that sorry but never again for me!

Food is standard and service is always fine. Quote from my 10 yr old grandson - Best Pizza in Toronto!

Service was maybe a little too fast and the meal was very very salty for my taste. I won't return, I would rather be able to sit and enjoy my meal instead of being rushed through. My money is just as good somewhere else.

This restaurant is one of my favourites. I have been going here since I cant rememeber and I have always loved there food. They have great HOME-MADE italian food and the waitresses check up on your frequently to see how everything is. I love this restaurant the only bad thing is if you don't get there near the opening time you will be waiting long because everyone loves their food and it gets busy fast, but trust me it is worth the wait!

My husband and I frequent your restaurant often and truly enjoy the home-cooking. However, on this Saturday, Feb. 23 my chicken parmigiana was disappointing. The chicken was super- tough, thin and almost impossible to cut. We normally love your restaurant and food, so please keep the quality consistently high. My husband also found the same dinner choice was not up to par. Tonight's dinner was a disappointing experience, as we had to wait in line for an hour.

The food was very blah. This guys that seems like either the manager or owner is always in your face and seems very fake. This isn't the first time I've been there, but I think it will be the last. The constant ringing of the bell is very bothersome. But like I said the food is not the greatest and not authentic Italian, as they advertise.
The service was rushed and the waitresses are not easy to look at, sorry girls.

One of the best 'home cooked' Italian meals in the GTA. Also one of the best value restaurants in the city...and if you like garlic you will love Mamma's!

The service is fantastic! The waitresses are very sexy! We suggest all young available males should dine there often!
